The AIS group of companies will import and retail cars (sedans and crossovers), as well as develop a dealer network and provide warranty and post-warranty service. FAW cars are produced by the Chinese corporation First Automotive Group Corporation (abbreviated as FAW). It is the first automobile company established in the PRC, which started operations in 1953. Its creation marked the beginning of the development of the automotive industry in the PRC. FAW Corporation holds a leading position in the Chinese automotive industry. FAW's sales volume exceeds 3 million cars per year. FAW Corporation ranks 132nd in the Fortune Global 500 list of the world's largest companies and is represented in 40 countries worldwide. FAW has joint ventures for car production with the Volkswagen AG and Toyota Motor Corporation groups, and also develops its model range with their active participation, using their technologies, units, and components in car production. It is worth noting that FAW produces models such as Volkswagen CC, Volkswagen Bora; Audi A4, A6, Q5, and Q3; Toyota Prius, LC200, and RAV4 in China, among others.

As noted by AIS Marketing Director Serhiy Borovyk: "The new passenger car market is showing signs of recovery. At the same time, over the past few years, the offered model range in the low-cost segment has decreased significantly, and buyers currently have a very limited choice of models, mostly small B-class sedans. We see great potential for FAW's development in Ukraine. FAW's leadership in one of the most competitive markets in the world confirms that this company's products are highly reliable, high-tech, and keep pace with global automotive trends. We plan to offer our customers cars at more affordable prices, larger in size, and traditionally with richer trim levels and equipment."

The sale of the FAW passenger car model range to end customers is planned to be carried out both through its own and attracted dealer networks.

Recall that the AIS group of companies previously signed an exclusive distribution agreement with the FAW truck division.

It is worth noting that in the future, the AIS group of companies plans to expand cooperation with China First Automotive Group Corporation in the direction of FAW electric vehicles and buses.

The start of sales of FAW passenger cars in Ukraine is scheduled for September 2019.
