The cargo van body volume is 13.5 cubic meters, which is 30% more than that of the previous generation GAZelle vehicles. A special hatch under the passenger seat allows transporting long cargo up to 5 m. Convenient access to the cargo compartment makes loading and unloading processes as easy and fast as possible. The rear doors are fixed in an intermediate position – at an angle of 90 degrees and when fully opened at 270 degrees, giving the carrier freedom of action even in limited urban space. The high sliding door is equipped with a new reliable and ergonomic Rollmech Automotive mechanism. Plastic lining of the side walls of the van and flooring made of waterproof and wear-resistant marine plywood protect the body surface from abrasion and damage. Lashing rings allow convenient and reliable cargo securing.
The GAZelle NEXT combi van allows transporting seven people and 9.5 cubic meters of cargo and combines the advantages of a truck and a comfortable minibus. The wide sliding door provides convenient entry to the rear part of the cabin. The rear seats fold down, turning into a comfortable sleeping place. A spacious niche for things under the second-row seats is designed for storing personal belongings of the driver and passengers.
The car is equipped with a new economical EvoTech petrol engine of Euro-5 standard with a volume of 2.7 liters and a power of 107 hp. It is also possible to install LPG equipment, which will reduce operating costs by 1.5-2 times. A diesel version CUMMINS ISF with an engine volume of 2.8 liters and a power of 120 hp is also available.
The body is made of galvanized steel, and individual elements are made of high-strength fiberglass, which ensures high durability and good anti-corrosion properties of the car. The upgraded chassis improves road stability and ride smoothness.
