In July, the plant launched production of three models: a curtain-sided, thermal, and general-purpose van based on the MAZ 4371 "Kornet" chassis, designed for transporting a range of food and non-food products.
Moisture-resistant materials are used for the vans, metal parts have additional anti-corrosion protection, and fittings and individual parts are made of non-ferrous metals and stainless steel. The vans have a reinforced platform and one of the highest load capacities in this class – from 3.3 t to 4.6 t. Thermal vans allow transporting goods that require reduced storage temperatures and are manufactured using the European "sandwich panel" technology. The thermal van can be equipped with refrigeration equipment.
The MAZ 4371 "Kornet" is equipped with an economical Euro-5 turbodiesel engine MMZ D-245.35 with 170 hp and a 6-speed manual gearbox Shaanxi Fast Gear (developed by Eaton Corporation (USA)). The loading height is only 1.1 m, which is optimal for urban operation.
The cost of the general-purpose van MAZ-4371 "Kornet" starts from UAH 940,000.* The curtain-sided van is offered at a price from UAH 923,800.* The thermal van – from UAH 988,100.* Extended versions can be ordered. The cost of the vehicles is 10%-20% lower than analogues produced outside Ukraine.
Earlier, the "Avto-Holding" plant launched production of a bread van and an agricultural dump truck based on the MAZ chassis. The enterprise's products are certified and meet the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, and the quality management system meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2009 standard. The plant's production capacity is up to 4,000 vehicles per year.
Among other manufactured products are vehicles for the medical service, patrol and special vehicles for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, municipal vehicles, mobile workshops, cargo-passenger vehicles and special buses, tow trucks, vehicles for transporting liquefied gas, tank trucks, etc.
Products are manufactured on the chassis of such automotive brands as Opel, SsangYong, Chevrolet, Geely, GAZ, and others.
The truck market is one of the fastest-growing in Ukraine. Based on the results of the first half of the year, sales of new trucks exceeded 1.6 thousand units, an increase of 103% compared to the same period last year. MAZ continues to occupy first place in the market, with 315 new vehicles sold, a market share of 19%.**
