The first deliveries of cars to Ukraine are expected in early 2017, but Hyundai brand fans can already place a preliminary order for any of the available versions of this model. To do this, it is enough to visit an official dealer and submit an application. In the domestic market, the updated Hyundai Grand Santa Fe will be offered in three trim levels: Impress, Premium, and VIP.

Upgraded engine and suspension

The key update of the model was an improved 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine CRDi, producing 200 hp at 3800 rpm and a maximum torque of 440 N·m in the range of 1750-2750 rpm. All versions now feature the IDLE STOP&GO automatic engine stop system. Hyundai Motor engineers also refined the body, increasing its torsional rigidity by 15% — this was facilitated by increasing the share of high-strength steel by a third. In addition, the rigidity of the rear silent blocks and the anti-roll bar was increased, which positively affected the energy intensity of the suspension.

More expressive exterior

Compared to its predecessor, the updated Hyundai Grand Santa Fe received a unique body design that makes it easy to distinguish it from the standard Santa Fe model: the radiator grille has become more rectangular, the number of horizontal slats has been increased to five, and vertically positioned LED daytime running lights are now integrated into the front bumper. Minor refinements affected the rear optics, moldings in the lower part of the doors, and the design of the wheel rims. Due to changes in the front bumper design, the overall length of the car has decreased and now amounts to 4,905 mm.

Updated interior and expanded set of options

The interior of the Hyundai Grand Santa Fe has also undergone changes: the driver will appreciate the new instrument panel with bright backlighting and a 4.2-inch TFT screen of the on-board computer, as well as improved materials for seat upholstery and interior elements. Owners of the VIP version will be able to use the new 8.0-inch multimedia system display located on the center console.

In addition, the trim levels of the model have been supplemented with modern equipment:

IMPRESS trim

  • fabric upholstery of the middle door pillar.

VIP trim
