The appearance of a new star on the Ukrainian car market was accompanied by a musical performance by the group ASTURIA. The swift, captivating music of the famous string quartet of Ukraine symbolized the assertiveness with which NIRO will win the attention of domestic motorists.
Most of the presentation guests got acquainted with the Niro in advance. "Avtocentr na Stolichnom" organized preliminary test drives for those wishing to try the hybrid. It was possible to test the new Niro from January 30. During the interactive session with guests, test drive participants noted the easy handling and the manufacturer's approach to comfortable driving. For example, the Niro easily attacks corners. And the robotic DCT gearbox received a sport mode that allows smooth and ultra-fast gear changes.
But, of course, the main advantage was called the efficiency of the Niro. The power plant, which includes a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor, provides a consumption of 3.8 liters per 100 km in combined mode. At maximum acceleration, both engines work simultaneously, producing 141 hp!
Among the guests who underwent preliminary test drives, "Avtocentr na Stolichnom" raffled off an Apple iPhone7. The winner was Timofey Perminov. According to him, the test drive was out of curiosity about the Niro. And winning the drawing was a surprise for him, since he won such a promotion for the first time.
