Since December 2016, the retail network of the exclusive distributor of the GAZ brand in Ukraine, the AIS Group of Companies, has introduced a new small-class bus – Ruta NEXT, built on the basis of the new generation GAZelle NEXT vehicles. The Ruta NEXT bus is manufactured in Ukraine at the facilities of PJSC "Chasovoyarsk Bus Plant".
Ruta NEXT is a small-class bus with 19 or 22 passenger seats, depending on the configuration. It can be used on both city and suburban routes. The Ruta NEXT is equipped with a new economical EvoTech petrol engine with a displacement of 2.7 liters, Euro-5 standard, and a 5-speed manual gearbox. Installation and operation of LPG equipment is possible, which reduces fuel costs by up to 40% and makes the cost of transporting one passenger one of the lowest in its class. The bus's ground clearance is 170 mm, allowing it to be operated on all types of road surfaces. Power steering and an ABS system enhance driving comfort and safety. The outer skin of the side and rear panels is made of aluminum composite connected to a metal frame. The interior lining is made of high-quality plastic. All bus windows are glued, which increases body rigidity, durability, and makes the appearance more attractive. The cabin can be equipped with 19 or 22 soft seats for a comfortable ride over distances of up to 100 km.
