At AvtoVAZ, they emphasized that the enterprise is doing everything possible to preserve its workforce and maintain social stability both within the plant and in Tolyatti itself. At the same time, the company is ready to consider applications from those employees who, on their own initiative, express a desire to terminate their employment at the enterprise by agreement of the parties, if their immediate management does not object.
The company assured that no one will be forced to resign. The amounts planned to be allocated for this program and the exact number of employees expected to "voluntarily" leave have not yet been disclosed.
It is worth recalling that a similar staff reduction mechanism was already used at this enterprise in 2004.
