The publication's experts compiled a list of cars available on the American market, based on owner opinions. The rating is based on surveys conducted among the publication's readers.
In the category of affordable compact models, the Honda Fit (known as Jazz on the Ukrainian market) priced at $19 thousand was recognized as the leader. Among cars that Americans classify as compact, the first place went to the Subaru Impreza, and in the midsize car segment, the Toyota Camry was named the best.
Among large sedans, Consumer Reports highlighted the Chevrolet Impala, and in the category of sports cars priced up to $40,000, the Mazda MX-5 won.
As for crossovers and SUVs, the Subaru Forester, KIA Sorrento, and Lexus RX were recognized as the best. In addition, the rating included the Ford F-150 in the small pickup truck category and the Toyota Sienna among minivans.
