Analytical company IHS Automotive named the best-selling sports car in 2015
Ford sold 141,868 units of the Mustang, making it the best-selling sports car.
It is worth noting that the majority of cars sold were in the American market, which is quite understandable given the price of the Mustang in the US. The base trim costs only $24,145 there.
For comparison, in Ukraine, the base Mustang will cost almost twice as much. Additionally, according to HIS Automotive data, the global sales leader among sports cars two years ago was the Mazda MX-5 roadster.
