Following the head of the company, ten more top managers, including the vice president, left their posts.

According to unofficial sources, such a sudden departure of management is likely related to the high-profile scandal surrounding Takata airbags. It turned out that in accidents they can deploy with too much force, which, according to preliminary data, has already caused the deaths of 11 people and injuries to more than a hundred. The total number of cars recalled worldwide due to faulty Takata airbags (including Honda models) has already exceeded 25 million.

It is worth adding that because of these problematic airbags, the US government decided to charge Takata a fine of 14 thousand dollars daily.
