As Autoportal has already written, the company recently published official images of the new Geely crossover. This model will become the first Chinese car to support Apple CarPlay in its multimedia systems.

"This is only the first step towards wider use of internet services in cars, as well as autonomous driving technologies," said Geely founder Li Shufu.

According to unofficial information, Geely plans to supply the new model to the European market, where it will be sold under the name Emgrand Boyue.

It is known that the engine lineup for the new SUV will include three units, the base being a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 140 hp. There will also be turbocharged 1.8-liter engines producing 160 and 180 hp. All-wheel drive and automatic transmission are available only for the most powerful version. The base and mid-level modifications are available strictly in front-wheel drive with a manual gearbox.
