Against the backdrop of such a drop in demand, cars are becoming more expensive, including due to the bills adopted by the Verkhovna Rada. After all, although the Rada canceled the recycling fee, it doubled the excise tax.
According to the worst-case scenarios, by the end of the year the car market could collapse by 60%. To stop the decline of the car market, it is necessary to stabilize the hryvnia exchange rate, resume lending activities of banks, and normalize the situation in the country.
