Between February and March 2014, at gas stations of such networks as LUKOIL Ukraine, OKKO Nefteprodukt, WOG Retail, Alliance Holding, Parallel, Ukrnafta, Avias, Vesta Service, and Bel Oil, the price of gasoline and diesel rose by almost three hryvnias per liter. This was reported by the press service of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

The AMCU saw signs of collusion between companies and abuse of the difficult economic situation. The authority insists on bringing fuel prices to the market level.

Operators have been given ten days to review and comply with the orders. It is noted that the AMCU has previously applied penalties to these market participants for similar violations.
