Protesters blocked several streets near the Verkhovna Rada
Protest participants say their goal is to block people's deputies from leaving the Verkhovna Rada building until a bill providing for the abolition of the recycling fee and excise tax on vehicle conversion is adopted in the second reading.
The majority of protesters are members of the Ukrainian Automobile Union, joined by activists of the Maidan Self-Defense.
Earlier, the parliament had already made adjustments to legislation concerning the automotive sector.
