Earlier, a version of a steering malfunction of the sports car was considered. According to eyewitnesses of the accident, the Porsche Carrera GT driven by racer and stuntman Roger Rodas failed to negotiate an ordinary turn and crashed into trees.
From the outside, it looked like some kind of malfunction in the car. Experts investigated all the circumstances of the accident and concluded that at the moment of the crash, the supercar was moving at a speed of 150 km/h, which is twice the established speed limit.

Representatives of the tire company Michelin, who were also involved in the investigation as experts, stated that the tires of the Porsche Carrera GT, which were already nine years old, contributed to this accident.
As is known, over time, volatile components of rubber evaporate, and the tire loses its elasticity - it hardens. This circumstance could well have been that fatal link in the chain of unfavorable factors that led to the tragedy.
Yesterday we wrote that in the remaining episodes of the seventh film "Fast & Furious", Paul Walker will be replaced by a "digital" double.
