Let us remind you that the city authorities are ready to revise the cost of travel in public transport, but they are in no hurry to resolve this issue.
At the same time, private carriers cannot wait, and for many, the old travel tariffs mean a dilemma: to work at a loss or to stop transportation altogether. For this reason, carriers have already begun to raise the cost of travel by an average of 50 kopecks, and on some routes by 1 hryvnia.
How events will develop further is still unknown, but for now Kyiv residents still have affordable city transport as an alternative. If the Kyiv City State Administration decides to raise tariffs on municipal lines as well, travel on all types of transport will be the same and will amount to 3 hryvnias per trip.
