Unlike the strict appearance of its platform sibling Peugeot 108, the C1 decided to apply unusual design solutions concerning the front part of the car. It can be said that for those who prefer classic design, the Peugeot/Citroen concern offers the strict 108, while the more avant-garde C1 is designed for those who find classics boring.
In terms of technical part, there is no difference between the two models, and compared to the predecessor, the dimensions of the new model have changed somewhat. The new generation Citroen C1 has the following dimensions: length - 3460 mm (an increase of 30 mm), width - 1620 (minus 8 mm), and height - 1450 mm (15 mm lower). The trunk volume ranges from 196 to 750 liters. The weight of the car is 840 kilograms.
Under the hood of the Citroen C1, a three-cylinder engine with a volume of 1 liter and a 1.2-liter power unit can be installed, both running on gasoline. The power of the first is 68 hp, the second - 82 hp. As a transmission, a 5-speed manual or an ETG "robot" with the same number of gears is provided. Average fuel consumption is 4.3 liters per hundred kilometers.
The French hatchback received the Airspace version, in which the soft part of the roof measuring 800x760 mm slides with the help of an electric drive. The soft roof can be painted in one of three colors: red, black, or gray.
