The technology of using carbon in the Intrado is somewhat unusual and is designed with an eye to assembly-line production. The design is based on a carbon spatial frame made in the form of hollow "hoops" braided with carbon fibers.

Body panels made of ultra-light steels or other materials can be attached to this load-bearing base of the body. As a result, such a body is 70% lighter and twice as rigid as a steel one of similar size.

It is a pity that the increase in the cost of such production is not yet known. But the cost of materials, according to the forecasts of Korean specialists, can be reduced to a quite competitive level.

The concept's power unit is also unusual and is an electrochemical generator that converts oxygen and hydrogen into electric current and water vapor. This power plant is coupled with a generator, and the Intrado is driven by an electric motor.

Of course, this hybrid has a set of lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 36 kilowatt-hours. The total range of this car is more than 600 kilometers. Other details about the Hyundai Intrado will become known later.
