Traffic is restricted on almost all approaches to Kyiv, with trucks carrying sand and concrete blocks blocking part of the roadway, leaving one lane for traffic.
As a result, near some checkpoints, traffic jams stretch for several kilometers. The only unblocked road remains the Vyshhorod direction, towards Mezhyhiria.
Many small towns (for example, Lubny) are blocked by the police, with exits from them completely closed. Special attention was paid by law enforcement to the Kharkiv direction, with a large number of security forces spotted along the entire route, on duty in full combat gear.
