Today, February 18, due to the start of clashes, the Kyiv Metro switched to a special schedule: central stations stopped accepting and releasing passengers, and trains pass them without stopping.
In addition, the transitions connecting "Khreshchatyk" and "Maidan Nezalezhnosti", as well as "Palats Sportu" and "Lva Tolstoho", are blocked.
According to the latest data, hundreds of protest participants were injured, and dozens of law enforcement officers also suffered.
At 16:42, a message was received about the complete closure of all metro stations: passengers were asked to leave the subway. Press officer of the Kyiv Metro Natalia Kernytska confirmed that all stations are closed due to riots in the center of the capital.
Those still in the metro are being dropped off at stations.
