Most likely, the initial modification will be the Nissan Juke with a 1.2-liter gasoline engine. This unit, equipped with turbocharging, produces 115 horsepower. In terms of fuel consumption, it is quite capable of replacing the current 1.6-liter engine.
Much more interesting is the updated 1.5-liter diesel engine. This engine has acquired a new turbocharger, oil pump, and a start-stop system, which is available even in the base version!

The power of the power unit remains the same — 108 hp, but the torque has increased by 20 N/m, which made this version of the Juke 14% more economical and reduced harmful emissions by 12%. It remains only to hope that the diesel modification will also reach the Ukrainian market.
The public showing of the updated Nissan Juke is scheduled for March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show.
