Skoda is heating up public interest: the next generation of the Fabia model promises to be more spacious, and its design will echo the look of the Yeti crossover.

The concept version of the Fabia will be shown already in March at the Geneva Motor Show. However, the production version won't be long in coming — Skoda plans to make it in time for the Paris Motor Show, which will take place in the fall.

In addition to a completely updated exterior, the new Skoda Fabia will get petrol engines from the TSI line with a displacement of 1.2 and 1.4 liters, as well as a 1.6-liter diesel. Furthermore, the appearance of a simplified modification with a three-cylinder unit borrowed from the Volkswagen up concept is not ruled out.

Let us remind you that the seven-seat Skoda Snowman crossover, which we have already mentioned, will also be based on the MQB platform from Volkswagen.
