In addition, in conditions of such impunity and a surge of aggression, arson can affect any car — both for a specific reason and without any reason at all. If one vehicle catches fire, nearby cars risk burning out completely.
For some people, it is enough to notice ribbons in support of "Euromaydan" on a car to lose control of themselves. As they write on forums, some such vehicles were not burned, but completely smashed. It seems that the vandals simply did not have a Molotov cocktail at hand.
Residents of some areas are trying to organize into squads to patrol and protect their property from violators of order. However, the most reliable option is still paid guarded parking lots, or simply put the car in a garage and wait until the situation normalizes.
