Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Anatoliy Holubchenko announced the postponement of the introduction of new fare tariffs. This statement was made at a meeting with representatives of trade unions of capital educational institutions.

Holubchenko explained that currently the city authorities do not have accurate data on how the average salary of Kyiv residents will increase this year, so the increase in travel costs is postponed. However, his previous remark looks more plausible that such an unpopular step would now provoke another outbreak of discontent among the population, which is undesirable for Kyiv at the moment.

Let us remind you that earlier the possibility of setting the cost of a trip in any municipal transport of the capital at the level of 3 UAH was discussed.
