Production of the new Volvo XC90 starts in 2015, and its design can be imagined from the XC Coupe concept car. It is expected that the car will be built on the new Volvo SPA modular platform, but details about the technical part are still kept secret.

At the same time, it is already known that the model will receive the latest Volvo developments in the field of safety. Standard equipment, for example, will include a function for recognizing pedestrians at night. The electronics themselves detect a person and brake the car to avoid a collision.

In addition, the XC90 will monitor the edge of the road and, if the car drives off the asphalt, it will independently return it to the road. The list of options will also include an auto-parking system. This technology itself finds a free space in the parking lot and parks the car without the driver's participation.
