The press service of the Department of the State Automobile Inspectorate of Ukraine informs that from January 1 to January 31, the special unit of the State Automobile Inspectorate, formerly known as "Kobra", will be working in Kyiv and the region. The department emphasizes that the officers of this unit are distinguished by honesty and incorruptibility, and warns drivers: any attempts to offer a bribe to an inspector will be immediately recorded, and the driver will be detained.
It is also noted that various "special" IDs or "privileged" license plates do not affect the employees of the special unit. The State Automobile Inspectorate expresses hope that conducting raids in the capital and the region during the peak holiday season will bring maximum results.
Recall that since December 14, a law has been in effect in Ukraine that has tightened liability for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
