The fact that the corporation «Ukravto» plans to launch production of a crossover was reported by the company's vice president Natalia Bey. The project involves creating a production facility with a high degree of localization, which includes stamping of body elements, welding, painting, and final assembly of cars. Also, at AvtoZAZ, plans were announced to master two more models that will have a significant level of local production.
The company noted that this is about cooperation with an already known partner. Based on this, most likely, the new crossover will be the Chery Tiggo, which will be produced under the ZAZ brand. As for other future models, negotiations are currently underway with brands such as Chevrolet, Opel, and Kia.
