Let us remind you that the Subaru Legacy was shown on February 6 at the Chicago Auto Show. Its 2.5-liter gasoline engines with 177 hp and a 3.6-liter unit with 260 hp should also be under the hood of the new Outback version.

The traditional hydromechanical gearbox has given way to the Lineartronic CVT, which, however, uses a torque converter instead of a friction clutch pack. A manual gearbox for such cars is already a thing of the past.

In addition, the manufacturer promises improved trim materials and the EyeSight safety system, which monitors lane keeping, the situation in front and behind the car, and can also prevent a frontal collision.

The model's presentation will take place in April in New York, and Americans will be able to purchase the Subaru Outback in June. In Ukraine, the new product will appear no earlier than the end of 2014.
