This is due to the deteriorating situation on the Russian automobile market. After staff reductions, the plant will switch to a four-day working week.
According to sources at the enterprise, the plant will be idle during the May holidays, and in the future, work shifts may be reduced from three to two.

This is also due to the fact that the automobile market continues to feel the impact of the weak economy, as well as significant price increases and high interest rates.
In addition, it became known that the concern will offer plant workers to resign voluntarily. Some employees will be offered to transfer to work at the new central warehouse for spare parts and accessories in Chekhov, Moscow region. Others will be offered to transfer to the new engine production in Kaluga. It is expected to open in the second half of 2015. Up to 300 jobs will be created there.
