Italian Angelelli Automobili has unveiled a project for a new mid-engine sports car, the Tipo 829, named in honor of the Lancia Stratos, whose internal index was Tipo 829. The novelty was announced in three versions at once: Strada, Terra, and Pista. This is reported by Carscoops.
Angelelli Tipo 829 gets a 500-hp V6 and all-wheel drive

The Angelelli Tipo 829 is designed for a 3.2-liter V6 engine with 500 hp. All-wheel drive is claimed for all versions. At the same time, the company has not yet revealed the sports car's platform or specified whether the powertrains of the three modifications will differ.
The car has a low body with a forward-mounted cabin. At the front, there is a pronounced splitter, an LED strip, and vertical LED elements. The windshield is shifted forward to approximately the line of the front axle.
Currently, Angelelli Automobili has published only computer-generated images and some of the technical specifications of the Tipo 829. There is no information yet about series production, performance, or price.
The Lancia Stratos successor will have Strada, Terra, and Pista versions

The most extreme variant will be the track-focused Angelelli Tipo 829 Pista. It has a different front splitter, canards, a hood and front fenders with ventilation slots, pronounced side skirts, and a large fixed rear wing.
The Angelelli Tipo 829 Terra is aimed at rally, hill climbs, and roads with varying surfaces. It is claimed to have increased suspension travel, greater ground clearance, and chassis tuning for uneven surfaces.
The third modification, the Angelelli Tipo 829 Strada, is intended primarily for paved roads. All three versions retain shared proportions and the basic body design.
