The new model will go on sale in two versions at once: with petrol and diesel engines. Under the hood of both modifications are turbocharged 1.6-liter units: the petrol one produces 150 horsepower, while the diesel one produces 136. They work in tandem with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with dual clutch, and the drive is only to the front wheels.
The Sportage's exterior has become noticeably more expressive thanks to the redesigned front end. Inside, the driver is greeted by a new steering wheel, updated displays, and touch-sensitive buttons that make the interior more modern and convenient.
In the base Comfort version, which starts at UAH 1,262,316, the buyer gets a considerable list of options: keyless start, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, rear-view camera, parking sensors, heated steering wheel and front seats, automatic headlights and wipers, and a lane-keeping assist system.
The maximum Luxury trim, available from UAH 1,609,212, additionally offers leather upholstery, power tailgate and front seats, front seat ventilation, rear seat heating, and blind-spot monitoring in the mirrors.
