No one has seen the Skoda Slavia in person yet – the car is currently undergoing testing on public roads, albeit in camouflage. However, colleagues from a Czech media outlet took advantage of this: they studied the available photos in detail and talked to insiders, after which they presented their vision of the car's design. The website auto.cz has always been close to Skoda's top management, so it is highly likely that the new sedan will look exactly as shown in these renders.

It is currently known that the Skoda Slavia will replace the Rapid model. That is, it will be an entry-level model. The main market for the Slavia will be India – sales there are expected to begin in early 2022, after which the sedan may also appear in other countries.
The new sedan is based on the Volkswagen Group's MQB-A0-IN platform for the Indian market. It is expected to be offered with 1.0 and 1.5 TSI petrol engines producing 115 and 150 horsepower respectively, which will be paired with a manual transmission, an automatic transmission, and a DSG dual-clutch robot.
