The electric car has a special “city” mode that, when activated, reduces its width to just 1 meter (by narrowing the track). This simplifies driving the compact car on narrow streets and in tight parking lots. When the owner needs greater stability on the road, for example, on long trips, the width can be returned to its original position.
The City Transformer is powered by two electric motors (7.5 kW/10 hp each); acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h takes 5.0 seconds, and the top speed is 88 km/h.
On a single battery charge, the Israeli electric car can travel 178 km. The battery can be charged to 80% capacity in 30 minutes.
Buyers will be offered four color options (Spacious White, Concrete Grey, Nimble Blue Metallic, Transformer Red). The cost of the transformer is 12,500 euros. However, this is the auction price for the first buyers – later it will increase by 3.5 thousand.
