Inside, the Mercedes G-Class has not changed. The technical content also remains the same. As with all Mercedes G-Class 2021 models, the Professional is offered with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 gasoline engine producing 422 horsepower, or with 3.0-liter turbodiesels with 286 and 330 horsepower.

Of course, the Mercedes G-Class Professional is equipped with all-wheel drive with low-range gearing and differential locks. However, this is not the most extreme "Gelik", as a new Mercedes G-Class 4X4² is expected to appear soon.

In addition, at the Munich Motor Show, the electric Gelandewagen was presented. Its serial production will begin in 2023.
