The new Hyundai Custo will be produced at a plant in China. Minivans are still popular there, and there are even expensive executive models. Custo will become a more affordable alternative to crossovers, as well as to the unconventional Hyundai Staria.

It is known that the car reaches 4950 mm in length, 1850 mm in width, and 1734 mm in height with a wheelbase of 3055 mm. The faceted design with a huge radiator grille is made in the spirit of the Hyundai Tucson crossover.

There are no official images of the minivan's interior yet, but spy photos show a four-spoke steering wheel, a virtual instrument cluster, and a large portrait-format touchscreen. Versions for 6 and 7 seats will be offered.

Initially, the new Hyundai Custo will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 170 hp and a 7-speed dual-clutch robot. Later, a 2.0-liter 240-horsepower version with an 8-speed automatic transmission will also appear.
