The British manufacturer has decided to revive the historic XPower name – in the past it was assigned to the most powerful versions of MG. However, modern realities make adjustments: now such a car is equipped with a hybrid powertrain.

The total output of the 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine and electric motor reaches 305 horsepower. The new MG6 XPower accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in six seconds, and on electric power alone it can cover 70 kilometers. In terms of its performance, the model is close to the hybrid Skoda Octavia RS.

In addition, the car has acquired reinforced brakes with six-piston calipers: it can stop from a speed of 100 km/h in just 33 meters. The engineers also refined the XPower's chassis.

Externally, the MG6 XPower can be distinguished by its aerodynamic body kit, carbon fiber rear wing, and 18-inch forged wheels shod with Michelin tires. Inside, the trim has changed, sport seats have appeared, and the virtual instrument cluster and multimedia system have received new graphics.
By the way, MG is returning to the Ukrainian market. The brand's lineup will also include electric versions.
