The corresponding incident was recorded by a surveillance camera, and the video itself was subsequently published on YouTube, where it went viral within a few days.

So, what do we see in the video: in the foreground, a white Chevrolet Onix (a compact B-class hatchback for the South American market) is parked by the road. And across the road, a silver Honda Civic is parked in a garage. Both cars are waiting for the right moment to pull out. Then they simultaneously start moving (reversing) and at some point crash into each other.
The video has generated numerous comments and discussions about who is at fault in the accident. We, however, lean toward the "both at fault" option. But why this happened at all is unclear. Whether both drivers were in each other's blind spots, or they simply weren't looking in their mirrors.
Be that as it may, it can be said that both motorists got off with minor damage to their cars: the Civic's trunk lid and bumper were dented, and roughly the same damage was inflicted on the Chevrolet.
