It is important to emphasize that the photographs show the NIO EP9 roadster. The coupe appeared earlier, back in 2016, and made a name for itself with a record lap time at the Nürburgring — 7 minutes 5 seconds. Only 6 units were produced then, which were bought by wealthy buyers from China.

The roadster, apparently, will be produced in larger volumes. Probably, like the NIO EP9 coupe, it will be equipped with four electric motors with a total output of 1360 horsepower and a torque of 1480 N·m.

This Chinese electric car will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, and its top speed will reach 313 km/h. The range will be about 425 kilometers, and the battery can be recharged in 45 minutes. Notably, the car's design is based on the chassis of a racing prototype, so handling should be quite impressive.
