The manufacturer illustrated this news with photos, in which the new product is presented in metal for the first time (before that, the new Fabia could only be seen in computer presentation photos).

Skoda Fabia production
The launch of the new product was preceded by a large-scale modernization of the enterprise – a total of 110 million euros was invested in it. The new Fabia is produced on the same production line as the Scala and Kamiq models.

Fabia is the second most popular Skoda after Octavia. The car was born in 1999, and since then it has found 4.5 million buyers. The first generation of the model was especially successful – it sold 1.7 million units. Fabia II, released in 2007, showed similar sales results, while the third generation reached a shipment level of up to 1 million units.
Skoda Fabia IV
It should be noted that the debut of Skoda Fabia IV took place a couple of months ago. With the change of generations, the car moved to the Volkswagen Group MQB-A0 platform, thanks to which it noticeably increased in size and became more spacious. The length of the car increased to 4,108 mm ( 111 mm), the wheelbase increased to 2,564 mm ( 94 mm), and the trunk volume is now 380 l ( 50 l).

The body has become not only more attractive from a design point of view, but also more streamlined – the drag coefficient was reduced from 0.32 to 0.28. Buyers will also be offered two new colors – Orange Sunset and Graphite Grey. In more expensive versions, the new Fabia is also available in two-tone colors.

The engine lineup of Skoda Fabia IV consists of four petrol units with power from 65 to 150 hp (transmission – 5- or 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG "robot" depending on the engine and trim). With the most powerful of them, the car accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is 225 km/h. Diesel versions, as in the third generation, are not provided.
