BMW iX is one of the most anticipated new products of recent years. Not only in the USA and the Old World countries, but also in Ukraine. Our audience was interested in this electric crossover not least because its Ukrainian prices turned out to be lower than the German ones. Moreover, the difference turned out to be quite significant – in the case of the younger version BMW iX xDrive40 it is 14,900 euros, with the older BMW iX xDrive50 – 20,700 euros.
Both BMW iX xDrive40 and BMW iX xDrive50 are two-motor all-wheel-drive crossovers, they differ only in the output of the power plant and the capacity of the battery. The “fifty” has at its disposal 523 hp and 765 Nm, the battery in this case is 105.2 kWh. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.6 seconds, the range on a single charge is 630 km according to the WLTP cycle. In turn, the “forty” produces 326 hp and 630 Nm, the battery is 71 kWh. Such a crossover reaches 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and travels 425 km without recharging.
Both versions have fast charging, which allows you to “fill” the battery of the iX xDrive40 version to 80% in 31 minutes, and the battery pack of the iX xDrive50 modification in 35 minutes.
