The VW Touareg with this engine is just as powerful and exclusive as the famous version with the 6.0-liter gasoline V12 producing 444 hp and 600 Nm. The engine displacement is 5.0 liters, plus there are as many as two turbochargers. The power of such a Touareg is 310 hp, torque is 750 Nm. 15 years ago, Volkswagen demonstrated the towing capabilities of the Touareg V10 by publishing a video in which the German crossover tows a Boeing 747 airliner.
In addition to the engine, the Touareg 5.0 TDI is notable for other premium equipment: adjustable air suspension, locking center and rear differentials, 4-zone climate control, front seats with heating and electric drive with memory function. At the same time, the example that now needs a new owner also has some tuning from the owner – off-road tires on wheels, yellow Brembo brake calipers, and a Yakima roof basket.
According to the Carfax report, the crossover has a clean history, mileage is 81,100 miles (130,517 km). Despite its age, the Touareg is well preserved externally. The interior, however, shows natural signs of wear.
