There is not much information about the Nissan electric car. According to one version, this is a direct replacement for the Leaf (perhaps the car will even keep the name), according to another, the crossover will become the off-road sibling of the third-generation hatchback, and the two models will be produced in parallel.
It is known that the Nissan electric car is being created on the CMF-EV platform – it is also used by the Nissan Ariya crossover and the new Renault Megane. Its production will be set up at the plant in British Sunderland, and they plan to assemble about 100 thousand cars annually.
Judging by the images, the electric Nissan Leaf crossover features a streamlined design in the style of the Ariya – with a sloping roof and a high window line. Also noteworthy are the car's huge wheel rims.
