Like the standard Volkswagen Polo 2021, the GTI is recognizable by its modified LED headlights and taillights, and a new radiator grille. In addition, the hot version has an enlarged air intake in the front bumper.
In the cabin, the new steering wheel and gear lever, as well as the touch-sensitive climate control unit, like in the older Volkswagen Golf 8, catch the eye. In addition, the VW Polo GTI received an improved virtual instrument panel with a 10.25-inch diagonal and a large 9.2-inch touchscreen. The sports seats, as before, are upholstered in checkered fabric. The list of options has been expanded with matrix headlights, a Beats audio system with 10 speakers, and a semi-autonomous driving system.
The characteristics of the Volkswagen Polo GTI remain unchanged. The hot hatch is still equipped with a 2.0-liter 207-horsepower turbo engine and a DSG robot. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and reaches 235 km/h.
