The new GAC GS8 turned out to be more elegant and expressive than its predecessor. The design of its front end with a huge radiator grille and complex-shaped LED headlights reveals features of the Cadillac XT5 and XT6.

The Chinese crossover has grown noticeably compared to its predecessor. The length has increased to 4980 mm, the width has reached 1950 mm, and the height – 1780 mm. The wheelbase has reached 2920 mm. That is, in terms of size, the car is comparable to the Toyota Highlander and Mazda CX-9.

The interior of the GAC GS8 has not yet been revealed. However, it is known that the crossover will be a hybrid, and the powertrain was shared by Toyota. The 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder and electric motor together develop 252 hp and 400 N∙m. The crossover is exclusively all-wheel drive.
