Cooperation with the GAC concern helped to make Mitsubishi's first electric crossover cheaper. In fact, the Airtrek is a refined Chinese electric car GAC Aion V.

The Mitsubishi electric vehicle reaches 4685 mm in length. It differs from its Chinese counterpart in bumpers and optics. The first to appear will be a front-wheel-drive version with one motor producing 184 hp and a torque of 350 N∙m.
