Spy shots of the future 2022 Renault Kadjar hide the car under heavy camouflage, but specialists from the French publication L’argus decided to model its possible appearance. It is already known that visually it will not become a clone of the new Nissan Qashqai, although technically they will be relatives.

The dimensions of the crossover from Renault will also increase slightly: the distance between the axles, apparently, will reach 2665 mm — like the Qashqai. This will provide more space in the cabin and allow increasing the capacity of the luggage compartment.
Of course, the new Kadjar will be equipped with the latest technology. The list of equipment will include a high-resolution digital instrument panel, head-up display, and a semi-autonomous control system.

It is expected that under the hood of the 2022 Renault Kadjar will be the same 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engines producing 140 and 158 horsepower as in the Qashqai. As for diesel versions, their fate remains uncertain.
But hybrid modifications will almost certainly appear, and there will be two of them. The E-Tech version will get a 1.2-liter turbo engine paired with an electric motor, and their combined output will be about 200 hp. The plug-in hybrid will be equipped with a 280 hp system consisting of a 1.5-liter turbo four and two electric motors. Thus, it will be among the most powerful representatives of its segment — only premium models from Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz offer more horses.
