As part of the event, the first official teaser of the Toyota Land Cruiser 2022 was also presented. However, the secrecy of the SUV's appearance had long been broken — a lot of spy shots appeared online.
The technical parameters of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 are also no longer a secret. The dimensions of the car vary depending on the modification: length — 4965–4985 mm, width — 1945 mm, height — 1980–1990 mm, and the wheelbase is 2850 mm. The design is based on a new frame, which will also underpin the future Toyota Tundra and Sequoia.
At the start of sales, buyers will be offered two engines: a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged gasoline V6 producing 415 hp, and a 3.3-liter turbodiesel with 306 hp. Later, the lineup will be expanded with a hybrid unit with 480 hp and a "charged" modification with power exceeding 500 hp. All variants are equipped exclusively with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
In the top trim, the Toyota Land Cruiser features four-zone climate control, a large 12.3-inch touchscreen, a JBL audio system with 14 speakers, surround-view cameras, and two monitors for second-row passengers.
