The official premiere of the new model is expected in summer. However, the appearance of the new LC 300 is no longer a secret: besides the published video, the car has been repeatedly "caught" in live photos.

As before, the upcoming model seems to have been spotted at the factory parking lot of Toyota in Japan: in the video, you can see a white "Cruiser" making a turn and parking next to other "300s". All the action takes place behind a mesh fence.

With the generation change, the car will retain its characteristic massive boxy body, but there will still be plenty of visual changes. First, there is a new giant radiator grille that "extends onto the bumper", and second, narrowed headlights with dynamic LED turn signals.

Third, a completely different design of the rear pillar – with a sharp rise of the beltline and windows shaped like inverted trapezoids.

There is also some data on the technical side: it is known that the SUV will still be built on a ladder frame platform, but will lose the iconic V8 – it will be replaced by a hybrid setup with a gasoline V6 producing about 480 horsepower. In addition, the lineup will include a regular 3.5-liter unit with 415 horsepower, as well as a 3.3-liter diesel with an output of over 300 horsepower.
