The thing is, the Toyota GR Super Sport is a road version of the sports prototype for the 24-hour race at Le Mans. According to the new rules, it must have a road version produced in a quantity of at least 20 units.

Last year, the Toyota supercar in camouflage was shown before the start of the race at Le Mans. Judging by the photos, the car is quite compact, and it also has advanced aerodynamics.

The model is being developed in the racing division Gazoo Racing, which creates the hottest Toyota. It is known that the supercar will get a hybrid setup consisting of a 2.4-liter twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine and several electric motors.

In the racing version, the power of the Toyota GR Super Sport will be limited to 680 hp, as required by the rules, but the production version will be noticeably more powerful – 986 hp. Surely, acceleration to 100 km/h will take less than 3 seconds, and the top speed will exceed 350 km/h.
