Let us remind you that the Prius is not officially sold in Ukraine, but this model is well known in our region: it is popular on the secondary market, where it mostly comes from America. So, according to foreign colleagues, the Toyota Prius V will replace the current generation (XW50, produced since 2015) in 2023. Overall, the car will remain true to its concept: it will still be a hybrid in a liftback body with a sloping roof, but it will become more modern in many respects.
In particular, the powertrain of the car, as now, will include a 1.8-liter gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a lithium-ion battery, but the internal combustion engine itself will become even more economical, plus the battery capacity will increase, thanks to which the car will gain in efficiency. But the platform will remain the same – TNGA, it is still relevant.
As for the appearance, there are neither official images nor "live" photos of the Toyota Prius V yet, but BestCarWeb has prepared renders of the supposed appearance of the car based on the information received. Judging by them, the new Prius will be similar to the fourth-generation model (in the photos below), but will get touches of futuristic and even sporty solutions: for example, it will be equipped with an "angry" bumper with huge air intakes.
